Role Overview

As a participant in our Teacher Training & Work Experience Programme, you’ll join a welcoming summer school community where you can develop real classroom skills in a supportive environment. This role is designed for future English teachers, university students, TEFL trainees, or anyone interested in gaining hands-on teaching experience with small groups of teens aged 11–17.

You will observe experienced teachers, assist during lessons, and gradually take part in short teaching segments and supervised activities. Throughout the programme, you’ll receive guidance from our academic team, regular feedback, and access to clear lesson frameworks that help you grow with confidence.

Outside the classroom, you will live in our School-Residence near Dublin, where a friendly residential team, shared meals, and a positive atmosphere create a sense of community. This experience offers the perfect balance of practical training, cultural exchange, and professional development, preparing you for future roles in English teaching or youth education.
